CERTIFICATION BY THE ROUND TABLE ON SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL ("RSPO")
The board is pleased to announce that three of the Group's oil-palm estates in Sumatra, Pangkatan, Bilah and Sennah, have received official accreditation from RSPO. Accordingly, the crude palm oil produced by the Pangkatan mill can now be certified as having been derived from a sustainable source.
In Kalimantan, the new palm-oil mill has been operating since the end of 2011 and the RSPO audit process is now under way regarding this project.
